NEW DELHI: It can’t get any bigger than this. The Twenty20 World Cup final on Monday between India and Pakistan is being billed as one of the biggest finals in recent times.
The bookmakers and satorias in Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore and Agra, the major centres for betting, are looking at this as a mega event and it is estimated that nearly Rs 1,200 crore to Rs 1,500 core are riding on the match. This is almost double the amount that was at stake during the last World Cup in the Caribbeans.
