Scrapping off entry load in mutual funds- Is it justified?

MUMBAI: Call it the market regulator’s gift to investors if you will. From January 4, investors buying into mutual funds (MF) directly (without going through a distributor, agent or broker) will not have to pay an entry load. Currently, it can be as high as 2.25%.
